How to interpret the Online Safety scores?
In order to provide you an easy-to-understand indication of the status and safety of the website you are thinking of clicking, we provide five levels of online safety scores.
- Very Poor
- Poor
- Unsatisfactory
- Good
- Excellent
Online Safely score is powered by the API of WOT. We are not responsible for any mis-categorization of websites and we are not sharing any personal identifiable information via WOT API. Online Safety only adds badgers next to the organic search results in your search feed. For advertisement result in the search feed, we do not add the badger
Changing your default search engine to Yahoo
In order to provide the functionality of Online Safety, we require to change your default search engine to Yahoo. If you do not want to use Yahoo as your default search engine, your only resort is to uninstall this extension.

We integrate the API of WOT to provide the online safety scores and we are not responsible for the accuracy of the score. However, if you do find a wrongly categorized website, you can let us know and we will be able to pass on your feedback to WOT.

In order to provide the functionality of this extension and adding the safety badger to your search feed, we need to change your default search engine to one that we are familiar with and we can work with. Not all the search engines support this functionality and if you don't want to use Yahoo as your default search, you have to uninstall our extension.
